If this is a HW issue, ok its out of warranty, I can deal with that. Gopro refuses to provide a solution or an explanation?? The only way to get the serial number back in, is to return the camera. All this can be read at your Lieasure. GoPro did the best they could with an out of warranty camera with someone that was frankly quite rude on the phone as evidenced by your posted transcript.
